2 Villagers Shot At “Mistakenly” By Military In Arunachal Pradesh

Two civilians have been “mistakenly” shot at by the Military in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh. The incident occurred at Chasa village on Friday night when the 2 villagers, recognized as Nokphya Wangdan (28) and Ramwang Wangsu (23), have been returning house after fishing in a river, Military sources near PTI mentioned.

The 2 villagers have been despatched to the Assam Medical Faculty and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh by the Military for remedy, they added.

It was a case of mistaken identification, they mentioned.

AMCH superintendent Dr Prasanta Dihingia mentioned one of many injured was hit by a bullet within the ulna of his hand, whereas the opposite’s bullet harm was on the toe.
