Kerala police on Friday took into custody a 31-year-old man after his spouse, a mannequin and actor was allegedly discovered hanging at their residence close to Kozhikode. Police mentioned 20-year-old Shahana, who was a mannequin and an actor, was discovered hanging at their residence on Thursday evening.
“We have been knowledgeable in regards to the incident on Thursday evening. As of now, we have now registered a case underneath part 174 of the CrPC,” police advised PTI.
Police have taken into custody Sajjad, in opposition to whom, Shahana’s household has raised varied allegations together with assault and homicide. Shahana’s mom advised the media channels that Sajjad used to torture her daughter.
“We’ve obtained data that they’d a battle over some cheque which she obtained for modelling. His model is that she hanged herself on the window. We’re investigating whether or not her act was adequate to trigger demise,” ACP Sudharshan advised the media.
