Amy Winehouse fans watching PO’D Marisa Abella Probably won’t be happy with this latest update in costume for the biopic, ’cause it’s still looking a little…off.
TMZ obtained the photos, taken in London on Sunday afternoon, where the actress was seen in full costume portraying the late singer. As you probably know by now, Marissa was tapped to play Amy – but people online are freaking out saying that’s completely false.
Considering the sheer amount of criticism the early set photos have received over the past few weeks, you’d think that the studio would make a tweak or two to Marissa’s makeup or something — but alas, as seen in these photos , they’re moving on what got them here.
It’s unclear what kind of scene they were actually shooting — but eyewitnesses tell us it looked like Amy’s onscreen father, Eddie Marsan, was dropping her off at a rehab center. It makes sense… The film is focusing on Amy’s early rise to fame, when she was still living in London. By then, she was already abusing drugs, alcohol and other things.
it’s not a big deal Of course, this is not going to please the hardcore fan base.
It’s a little weird that everyone is so upset over the fact that Marissa isn’t a dead ringer for Amy. Truth be told, Hollywood has had a habit of casting actors who don’t necessarily look like iconic musicians, especially as of late. Austin Butler Excluded, of course.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
Plus, you have to imagine that the producers– who are working on this with a blessing from Amy’s estate– want to do justice to her legacy… so a little faith goes a long way for this sort of thing. comes As they say, it’s not always about the form – but, moreover, the essence.
Bottom line… Marissa still has the potential to impress everyone, so we’ll just have to wait and see how the performance holds up when ‘Back to Black’ finally hits theaters.
In the meantime, let all your Lady Gaga Fanatic Dreams, People — Kana, Vida, Shoda… But it’s not like that. Give Marissa a chance!

hi-fi rusha game built around the concept of holy blissLast week was notable for two things. One, it’s really great, And two, it achieved that rarest of video game feats: a successful surprise release.
By surprise, I mean complete surprise. Nobody knew this game for a minute In existence, Next it was available to download and play on Xbox and PC. In this, our Lord’s year 2023, how often does that happen… with anything? somewhere? Never, how many times!
As a result the game doesn’t feel like a breath of fresh air, it feels like having the wind blown off our feet, and while I don’t want to underplay any aspect of the game when talking about its success, let’s be honest. Stay Here: This game feels so fresh not only because it’s an amazing game, but because it wasn’t drained by a drawn-out marketing campaign for 12 months.
What I’m going to say here is not meant to directly demean anyone working in video game marketing: you have jobs selling video games, and in most cases there are people who are doing a great job. Huh. Whether it’s putting together blockbuster trailers or chatting with (potential) fans on social media, it’s a tough job and in most cases I completely understand and sympathize with that, especially after the system that from within which they’re selling games on Shoppers Are Obsessed With Preorders and Wishlist-demands it,
But I am not responsible for creating a single ad campaign. I’m on the receiving end, just like you thousands Of them, all together, everywhere we look. From previews on major sites from YouTube to Twitter to Discord, anyone interested in video games on the internet is under siege from the second we log on to the log off. Here’s a thing, pre-order it Learn more about this thing, pre-order it.

Vivid colors and deep blacks It’s Oscar season which means it’s time to binge all the nominations before the big day. Why not enjoy these pieces of art on a new TV from our friends at Samsung?
I’ve covered this in my blood of death saga pieces first, But video game marketing has always had a certain predictability to it. Not in terms of the specific aspects of their campaign—the AAA blockbuster clearly has a different marketing budget for a small indie release—but the way they can guarantee it so often that we’re feeling exhausted.
It is not enough that we are shown the world, style and premise of the game. We have to tell the backstory of each major character. Showed a Vidya lecturer to the world. We’re told how many lines of dialogue are in the script, how many thousands of hours it might take to finish, who every voice actor is. We are conditioned, and in many cases are expected to be, by the time of release, fans of a game we haven’t even played yet. which of course, the whole point is,
screenshot, hi-fi rush
Imagine if, instead of appearing out of nowhere, hi-fi rush was subjected to the traditional Bethesda marketing campaign. It was photographed at The Game Awards in December 2021, its bright light dimmed by the weight of the larger, more expensive games with which it was revealed. Imagine being subjected to his worst lines as part of a character on YouTube, instead of warming up to Chai’s fry-from.futuramaSpecial attractions during the opening hours of the game. What if instead of the game being able to take so much pleasure in revealing its cast and world on its own terms we’ve already been spoiled for us by the Meet Project Armstrong documentary?
It must have sucked! Sure the game would still have been great, but so much of the joy of discovery that came with its release, a modern schoolyard buzz, would have been lost. To be clear, as I’ve already said, I don’t say this to shame any particular activist, studio, or any other agency involved in the marketing of video games. Trees are not the problem here. This is a forest.
which makes hi-fi rush Very special It’s one of the only sports that can get away with it. Note I’m not calling for an end to video game marketing here, or saying that more games should try this, because the former would be pointless (it’s a big jungle!) and the latter would be reckless advice. As much as hi-fi rush Sounds like a remastered GameCube game, and unlike anything else, it was developed by a well-known AAA studio and published by Bethesda, then released on Xbox Game Pass so people could try it “for free”. Can It was probably the only possible combination of style, scope, and pedigree that could even afford to try it, let alone hope to get away with it.
so i don’t want to say hi-fi rush must be one example, I just want to say that we should all cherish this game for what it is, and how it came to us, because in both cases the circumstances are about as perfect as we could have expected them to be, and we can Can never see align. this again. Surprises are good, but few good video game surprises are as good.
49ers‘ The season ended after an ugly 31–7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.
The Niners were flagged 11 times for 81 yards, and Bay Area fans, reporters, and most of all, head coaches Kyle Shanahan All were quick to point the finger at the referee for the call at San Francisco’s expense throughout the game. But while the frustration is understandable, the level of finger-pointing at the referee ignores the fact that a first-quarter injury to quarterback Brock Purdy shook the entire Niners team. Players on both sides of the ball seemed to be pressing and playing with an extra level of physicality that should make fans expect more penalties.
The referees weren’t perfect and were certainly willing to throw flags for defensive holding and defensive pass interference with minimal contact. This isn’t exactly an earth-shattering new development; This is the direction the NFL has headed over the past 40 years. After all, the 49ers could easily have profited from that trend if they were able to mount a more aggressive passing attack. It was injuries to Purdy and Josh Johnson that restricted what they could do on offense.
Many 49ers analysts and fans, including Steve Berman of The Athletic, thought that Eagles’ right tackle Lane Johnson was getting away with false starts on every play. but as Offensive Line Specialist Duke Mannyweather As explained on Twitter, early movement does not mean a fine has been imposed. As with every rule, there are some loopholes that players try to take advantage of.
A roughing-the-kicker flag in the third quarter against Jordan Mason enabled the Eagles to take a 28–7 lead instead of giving the ball back to the 49ers from down 21–7. Niners fans captured the angle of the end zone showing Mason pushing into Eagles punter Brett Kern, which should have meant no penalty on the play. However, the side view makes it clear that Mason’s momentum would have carried him into the kicker without pushing him. The Niners have a valid gripe that Mason was called for a personal foul instead of running at the kicker, but that 5-yard penalty would have just set up a fourth-and-1, which the perpetually offensive Eagles did. Might have converted with one. Quarterback sneak anyway. Does this justify the referee’s mistake? No, but the correct call would still have put Philadelphia in position to continue the drive.
The Eagles were the best team in the NFC all season long for a reason. On the road, an outstanding performance was needed to upset the 49ers. Instead, their already meager depth at quarterback was tested even more. Injuries to Purdy and Johnson, Although the Niners appeared unable to lose for the better part of three months, a lot of luck had to be found breaking their way to a 12-game winning streak. Things finally started going wrong on Sunday, and against a team where the margin for error was close to zero.

Wershing also provided the voice for Tess in “The Last of Us” video game. Neil Druckmann, creative director of the new HBO Max sports series “The Last of Us,” Tweeted On passage of washing:
“Just learned that my dear friend Annie Wersching has passed away. We have lost a beautiful artist and human being. My heart is broken. Heart goes out to her loved ones.”

“As I drove my boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and down the street, she would scream goodbye! Until we were out of ear and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Goodbye my Friend. “I love you little family…”
philadelphia eagles going back to super bowl after beating san francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon 31-7. Birds celebrating on stage after receiving their award after the game was over NFC Championship trophy and Terry Bradshaw of Fox Sports invited Jalen Hurts to lead the jubilant crowd in singing the Eagles fight song.
Hurts, who is an extremely talented athlete and an impossibly handsome man, isn’t very good at singing and also seems to get a few words wrong. We, I’m sure, will forgive her tone-deafness and blame it all on the adrenaline that was probably still coursing through her veins that took away her regular divine singing voice.
