Fb Probing Outgoing Govt’s Use Of Firm Assets: Report

Legal professionals are investigating Meta Platforms Inc’s outgoing operations chief Sheryl Sandberg’s use of firm assets over a number of years, the Wall Road Journal reported on Friday, citing individuals conversant in the matter.

A number of staff have been interviewed in reference to the investigation by Fb-parent Meta, the WSJ reported, including that the probe has been underway since at the very least final fall.

Meta and Sandberg didn’t instantly reply to Reuters’ requests for remark.

Among the many actions being scrutinized is the work of Meta staff to assist Sandberg’s basis, Lean In, and in direction of writing and promotion of her second guide, “Choice B: Going through Adversity, Constructing Resilience, and Discovering Pleasure”, the report added.

Chief Progress Officer Javier Olivan is ready to take over as chief working officer, though Zuckerberg mentioned he didn’t plan to switch Sandberg’s function immediately inside the firm’s current construction.
