A French scientist who tweeted a picture of a slice of chorizo and claimed it was an image of a far-off star acquired by the James Webb Home Telescope has issued an apology.

The image of the spicy Spanish sausage was shared by excellent French physicist named Etienne Klein on Twitter on July 31 claiming that it was the most recent image captured by American Home Firm NASA’s James Webb Telescope.
