Had “No Information” On Al-Qaeda Chief’s Presence In Afghanistan, Says Taliban – IHNS


Al-Qaeda chief’s assassination is a very powerful blow to the concern group since Osama’s killing

The Taliban talked about Thursday they don’t have any knowledge of Ayman al-Zawahiri’s presence in Afghanistan, two days after US President Joe Biden launched the Al-Qaeda chief’s killing by a drone strike in Kabul.

“The administration of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has instructed the intelligence firms to hold a whole and important investigation,” talked about an official assertion — the Taliban’s first level out of Zawahiri’s title since Biden’s announcement.

Zawahiri’s assassination is a very powerful blow to Al-Qaeda since US specific forces killed Osama bin Laden in 2011, and calls into question the Taliban’s promise to not harbour terrorist groups.

The Taliban reiterated of their assertion Thursday that there was “no menace” to any nation from Afghanistan’s soil.

In saying Zawahiri’s lack of life Tuesday, Biden declared “justice had been delivered” to the households of victims of the 9/11 assaults on the US.
