Senior Congress chief Anand Sharma scotched hypothesis about his assembly with BJP president JP Nadda on Thursday, saying if he needed to, he would achieve this brazenly as they each are from Himachal Pradesh and studied on the similar college.
Mr Sharma mentioned he had “previous social and household ties” with Mr Nadda and “I’m proud that somebody who comes from my state and college is president of the ruling celebration.” “Ideological variations don’t imply private enmity or apartheid…. If I’ve to satisfy JP Nadda, I might achieve this brazenly. It’s my proper. I cannot air hypothesis,” he mentioned, when requested about his reported assembly.
Mr Sharma, a former Union minister, mentioned the Himachal Pradesh College Alumni Affiliation had invited him and Mr Nadda to felicitate them.
The Congress chief added he had a dialogue with Mr Nadda over cellphone on attending the meet.
Mr Sharma is a outstanding member of the G-23 grouping of Congress leaders who had sought organisational overhaul and been important of some choices of the celebration management.
This isn’t the primary time that Mr Sharma is rumoured to have met Mr Nadda.
