Unidentified individuals threw items of meat within the compound of a village temple on this Uttar Pradesh district on Saturday, police stated. Enraged over the incident, a mob set three meat outlets, positioned a brief distance away from the temple, on fireplace.
Based on police, the incident befell in Rasoolabad village positioned throughout the Talgram police station limits. Jagdish Jatav, the temple priest, discovered the items of meat contained in the temple at round 4 am and the locals knowledgeable the police about it.
Officers of the native administration and police reached the spot and ensured that the items of meat had been faraway from the temple premises and the compound was cleaned. Nonetheless, members of native Hindu teams staged a protest in opposition to the incident and blocked the Talgram-Indergarh highway.
