On Digital camera, 2 Males Cease Automotive On Mumbai Sea-Hyperlink To Save Fowl, Killed By Taxi

Mumbai:

A 43-year-old businessman and his driver, who received down from their automotive to save lots of an injured fowl on Bandra-Worli Sea Hyperlink, died after being hit by a taxi on Might 30, police mentioned on Friday.

The CCTV footage of the accident was making the rounds on social media platforms since morning.

The accident occurred on Might 30 afternoon when businessman Amar Manish Jariwala, a resident of Nepeansea Street, was going in the direction of Malad, an official mentioned.

“En route on Bandra Worli Sea Hyperlink, a fowl was hit by their automotive, following which Jariwala received down to save lots of the injured fowl. A dashing taxi hit Jariwala and his driver Shyam Sundar Kamat. Jariwala was declared useless on arrival by docs of a close-by hospital, whereas Kamat died post-admission,” he mentioned.

A case was registered towards taxi driver Ravindra Kumar Jaiswar (30) for rash and negligent driving and he was arrested, the Bandra police station official mentioned.
