In his first comment a day after an RPG-like assault at Punjab Police’s intelligence headquarters in Mohali, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at the moment asserted that anybody tried to spoil the environment of the state won’t be spared.
“Punjab Police is investigating the blast in Mohali. Anybody who tried to spoil the environment of Punjab won’t be spared,” Mr Mann stated.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whose Aam Aadmi Social gathering (AAP) holds energy in Punjab, known as it a cowardly act and stated all culprits will likely be punished severely.
“Mohali blast is a cowardly act of those that need to disturb the peace of Punjab. Aam Aadmi Social gathering’s Punjab authorities won’t enable these folks’s needs to be fulfilled. Within the Monday night time assault, a rocket-propelled grenade or RPG was fired from the road, police stated, including that the blast was a minor one. The RPG shattered glasses on the Punjab Police’s intelligence headquarters, they stated.
“A minor explosion was reported on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in sector 77, SAS Nagar at round 7.45 PM. No injury has been reported. Senior officers are on the spot and an investigation is being performed. Forensic groups have been known as,” the Mohali police stated in a press release.
