Pak Authorities In Talks With Terror Group Pakistan Taliban To “Finish Violence”


Pakistan parliamentary panel additionally endorsed talks with banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan terror group.

Islamabad:

A Pakistan parliamentary panel on Tuesday formally endorsed the talks with the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to finish the violence within the nation, linking the ultimate final result of the dialogue with the approval of the federal government.

A gathering of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationwide Safety, chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, was held on the Parliament Home. Along with the provincial chief ministers, the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, the prime minister of Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and the army management attended.

The assembly was briefed on nationwide safety points and up to date talks with the banned TTP, based on a press release by the PM workplace.

The assembly was held after the Pakistan Peoples Celebration (PPP) had raised objections over talks with the TTP, which was concerned within the killing of Benazir Bhutto. The occasion had demanded that such talks needs to be held with the permission of the Parliament.
