Patna College’s Attendance Round Punctuated With Grammar Howlers

The Patna Univeristy round asks all doctorate students to mark their attendance in a register.


A round by Patna College, which is riddled with grammatical errors, has develop into the speaking level on social media. The round, issued by the College’s chemistry division, asks all doctorate students to mark their attendance in a register.

“As per verbal recommendation to Deputy Registrar, Patna College, All Ph.D Analysis Students are directed to the mark attendance in attendance register. So All Analysis Students should be mark signature in attendance register in any other case absent mark in attendance register,” the round says.

Issued on June 10, the round is signed by Dr Bina Rani, the Head of the division of chemistry at Patna College.

The doc was shared by Sanjay Kumar, the secretary of youth affairs within the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports activities.

The bureaucrat mentioned that the grammar used within the round is appalling for a professor.

“Here’s a discover issued by a head of division of patna college. theĀ  grammar and syntax used is appalling for a matter it could be,carelessness or incompetence,conveys the state of our larger training (sic),” he posted on Twitter.

Sharing the picture, a Twitter person mentioned that this customary of a college professor was unacceptable.

One other Twitter person wrote, “Simply cannot consider that it is from an HOD of a premier College.”
