Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned immediately with out addressing a rally in Punjab after his convoy obtained caught in a highway blockade close to Hussainiwala. The safety lapse occurred when the Prime Minister was travelling by highway from Bathinda to Nationwide Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala.
The PM’s convoy was caught for 15-20 minutes on the flyover as a result of a highway blockade by some protestors. The house ministry described the incident as a “main lapse” in his safety.
After the intense lapse in safety, his convoy determined to return with out attending an occasion at a martyrs’ memorial.
The Centre has requested the Punjab authorities to repair accountability for the lapse and take strict motion.
BJP chief JP Nadda hit out at Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in a sequence of tweets and accused him of refusing to take telephone calls.
“It’s unhappy that PM’s go to to launch improvement tasks value 1000’s of crores for Punjab was disrupted… State Police was instructed to forestall folks from attending the rally…CM Channi refused to get on telephone to both tackle the matter or resolve it,” Mr Nadda tweeted.
