A crew from ballot strategist Prashant Kishor’s IPAC has allegedly been detained in Tripura, the place they’d gone to do some groundwork for Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress. The Tripura Police have detained them on the lodge the place they have been staying. The police have been tenting on the lodge foyer since morning, sources within the IPAC have stated.
The 22 IPAC workers have been in Agartala for survey.
This morning, the police allegedly stopped crew from leaving their lodge, saying they’ve violated Covid norms.
Sources within the IPAC stated the crew had all the required Covid papers.
