SpiceJet Pilot Sees Windshield Crack Mid-Air, Takes Flight Again To Mumbai

New Delhi:

A SpiceJet airplane, which was heading to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, returned to Mumbai on Saturday after a crack was noticed on the windshield, in keeping with an official assertion.

“On Might 28, SpiceJet Boeing 737 plane was scheduled to function SG-385 (Mumbai-Gorakhpur). Throughout cruise, windshield outer pane was noticed to be cracked,” the airline’s spokesperson stated.

The pilot-in-command determined to return to Mumbai, the spokesperson stated.

The air site visitors controller was apprised and the plane landed safely on the Mumbai airport, the spokesperson added.
